Fed Organic Grass & Hay Only

We raise 100% grass-fed & finished pasture raised lamb. Raised on Organic Pastures They are rotationally grazed for both animal and pasture health and productivity.

Improving our earth

Our sheep also fill an ecological role on our farm by grazing, fertilizing and thus improving our hillside pastures. These fields are too steep to plow or graze heavy livestock on, so sheep fit the niche. These pastures are teaming with wildlife and birds.

Since they only eat perennial grasses, their environmental foot print is much lower than other types of grain feed meats.

Katahdin Breed

We choose the Katahdin Sheep for their ability to thrive on grass alone and their quality mild yet flavorful meat (no gaminess, just deliciousness). Disease and parasite resistant, they are a hardy, low input breed. Originally from Maine, these sheep are well suited to this place.

One of the reasons we became farmers is to raise vegetables & animals we feel good about eating. Our lamb is mild yet flavorful meat (no gaminess, just deliciousness).

We try to honor our lambs beauty by preserving their hides. Most sheep hides are thrown away. We try to breed color into our flock and the resulting sheep skins are beautiful.
