Your Farmers
Meadowlark Homestead is a diversified farm, committed to organic practices, caring for our land and feeding our community. We're Stephanie and Dean Sparrell-Martin, Meadowlark Homestead's farmers and owners. We're located in Trumansburg, NY, nestled beside Finger Lake's National Forest.
We started here in 2019, purchasing an old farmstead and have been reclaiming and rebuilding ever since. We're brought this old farm back into operation in 2024 when we started selling freezer lambs and opened our Farm Store in 2025.
We love birds. Meadowlarks remind us of spring and new beginnings. We love their song and the environment they reside in.

Still just a wee lass, June the Farm Dog is still learning the ropes of the farm and will hopefully soon help us herd the sheep!
June is a Mudi, a rare Hungarian herding breed, and she is full of energy & spunk. She loves running around the pastures and she hasn’t had the speed gun on her yet, but the farmers sure can’t keep up.
June’s hobbies include: chewing on roasted lamb bones, playing with fallen nuts from our hickory trees, and snuggling by the fire in the winter.
Stephanie
